There is a bit of magic in youth livestock projects. Youth bond to animals in ways that help them learn important lessons of live. As youth raise lambs, hogs, goats or beef, they learn responsibility, teamwork, to help each other and gain confidence in themselves. They learn to care for the animals and what it takes to keep them healthy. The Jr. Livestock show is the climatic event, where they have a chance to showcase everything they've learned along the way.
