The CPD provides a variety of community services, including training and technical assistance to consumers, families, professionals and paraprofessionals, policymakers and students.  Exemplary services focus on the prevention of problems such as developmental disabilities and delays, poverty, child abuse and neglect; and on interventions to minimize the negative impact of such problems.
